  • Slowdown tempers Zee's earlier heady growth
    With economic slowdown impacting advertising revenue, broadcaster Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) has seen a 7.3 per cent dip in net profit to Rs 96.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, compared with Rs 104.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

    Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd on Wednesday posted a marginal dip in their fourth quarter net profit as advertising revenue declined due to an economic slowdown and increased competition in the GEC segment.
